This isn’t your father’s Sportster, nor your grandfather’s Sportster that they got their starts on. In 2021, Harley-Davidson revamped its Sportster line with the Sportster S as the central model to be more of a high-powered bike that is loaded up with horsepower, torque, and technology, while remaining one of the lightest models to leave the factory. In other words, this is the first Harley Sportster not for beginners. If anything, the Sportster S is a direct rival to Kawasaki and Ducati with a strong power-to-weight ratio.
