Danny Gaston Lakeview, Arkansas excellent various off-road trucks modifications advices

Daniel Gaston Lakeview, Arkansas best rated Dodge Ram off-road vehicles modifications guides: When you’re in the driver’s seat, perspective is everything. You can only react to what you see through your windshield and mirrors, and in a regular truck, that amounts to the cars directly in front of and behind you. The view isn’t great! A truck on a lift kit, though, affords a panoramic view of your environment. Instead of looking at someone else’s rear windshield, you see the road far ahead, giving you an advantage over other motorists. With this birds’ eye view, you can identify traffic snarls and road safety hazards from a distance and make informed driving decisions based on what you see. And for what it’s worth, a lifted truck or Jeep is more visible than a standard one, so you’re more likely to be seen, even during dust storms and other times of lowered visibility. This marks the last year Ram will offer the 1500 with an available diesel V-6. New for 2023 is the Emergency Medical Service (EMS) limited-edition trim. Part of Ram’s Built to Serve lineup, the EMS edition honors first-responder heroes with special design cues and United States flag decals on the bedsides. Available in Hydro Blue or Bright White paint, the 1500 EMS comes with a blacked-out front fascia and grille, Technical Gray 20-inch aluminum wheels, and black exhaust tips. Inside, the EMS edition gets special front-seat décor. The Ram 1500 EMS comes standard with the 4×4 Off-Road Group equipment package, which includes tow hooks, a handful of underbody skid plates, and an electronic-locking rear differential.

The very first DOR-manufactured product was our 2nd gen non-adjustable long arm kit, which started when the company that made Dick Cepek long arms went out of business and we purchased the remaining inventory to sell off. Then we started coming up with other products for Ram trucks that fit a niche market, where we could focus on quality and price but not have a lot of competition. We are known for building the strongest, most heavy duty products on the market. Where most companies only use 3/16″ or 1/4″ steel, we use 1/4″ and 3/8″ plate, and bigger DOM tubing with thicker walls than other companies. Most people cannot believe how beefy our products are until they see them in person and compare them to other aftermarket products.

Top rated Dodge trucks suspensions provider with Danny Gaston Lakeview, Arkansas: Ram trucks have had one of the best infotainment systems and connectivity features in the class for a while. That continues in the latest trucks, which have either a responsive 8.4-inch or an optional 12.0-inch touchscreen that is available on all but the base Ram model. Too bad we experienced a lot of glitches with the huge display during the course of our 40,000-mile long-term test. Both systems are Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible, and even the larger touchscreen includes a handful of redundant knobs and buttons.

How does the 1500 drive? Our test truck had the V8 engine and the eight-speed transmission. They work so well together that we could recommend this truck on that basis alone. It’s strong and it’s easy to drive in just about every situation. The same can largely be said for the EcoDiesel powertrain — especially if you appreciate the pulling power of diesel torque. But there’s much more to the Ram than solid powertrain choices. We’ve tested many Ram configurations, and they all impress us with their steady steering, confident braking and secure handling. Ram’s decade-old decision to walk away from leaf springs and switch to a coil-spring rear suspension continues to pay dividends.

How’s the fuel economy? The Ram’s combined city/highway fuel economy ranges, for the most part, from the high teens to the low 20s depending on the engine and whether you get rear- or four-wheel drive. But the EcoDiesel V6 is the mpg star here. With rear-wheel drive, it posts an EPA-estimated 26 mpg combined. With the optional 33-gallon tank, it can go about 1,000 highway miles on a fill-up. Our 4WD test truck with the diesel returned a 24.2 mpg average over 923 mixed-driving test miles.

Another unique thing about DOR is that we only sell Dodge Ram parts. We are one of the only companies in the world that strictly specializes in Ram trucks, which is a testament to our loyalty and dedication the brand. The company was not started just to make money off Ram owners – it was started because we love building our trucks. Dodge Off Road continues to grow and be successful because our customers love their DOR-equipped trucks, and we love getting to help build them. Once known for big-rig styling, the Ram 1500 is now more stylish and aerodynamic. It doesn’t hit you over the head with a tough-truck theme. This aesthetic carries over inside, where the Ram impresses with a handsome look that is logically laid out and oozes quality. And the 12-inch screen and reclining rear seat never get old.
