Picnic areas, concessions and cafes dot the zoo. During winter, when neither you nor the animals will care to linger outdoors, the admission price is reduced. Now lets talk about cleaning guides: With all the junk we throw into our garbage disposals, it’s no wonder they’re a veritable petri dish—with the nasty odors to prove it. Thankfully, making them a whole lot cleaner is easy: Simply squeeze some lemons into your drain, and as your disposal gobbles up those rinds, it will start to smell fresh and fabulous. The best idea for how to clean dust is to buy machine-washable items and launder them twice a year (OK, at least once). If a CD or DVD skips or won’t play in a machine that plays other discs flawlessly, cleaning the disc may solve the problem. Disc cleaning kits are available, but all you really need is lukewarm water, a few drops of dish detergent, and a soft, lint-free rag.
