The “Shield” protects your village from outside attack for a set period of time. Attacking another village while your shield is still active breaks it, and this is something you want to avoid. Only attacking when your shield goes down — the game gives you a notification when there is 30 minutes left — maximises the time your collectors and mines can produce resources (for free) and reduces the risk of losing trophies.
Speed Run 4 is a classic quick-fire platformer game that’s perfect to play in short, lunchtime bursts. Once you cross the start line, you’re automatically placed in sprint mode and your goal is to, unsurprisingly, race through each of the 31 levels as quickly as possible. It’s simple, yes, but the level design is as eclectic as the soundtrack. One map might have you drifting across bright purple platforms to psychedelic trance, while the next might be plain white with, er, Coldplay’s Speed of Sound as your backing track – because why not? Don’t let this put you off, however: as is true with many Roblox games, Speed Run 4 comes into its own with friends. Storming through each level on your lonesome is fun enough, but racing against your fellow Roblox pals adds another dimension to this fast-paced platformer.
Minecraft is a popular game all around the world for people of all ages. For those who have never played, Minecraft puts you in a giant world where you mine stuff, build stuff, beat up bad guys, and do pretty much whatever you want. There is a survival mode where you must mine your own resources and food along with a creative mode that gives you unlimited everything. Frequent updates have added tons of new content and possibilities. The game is pretty much on par with its PC and console counterparts. You’ve got to utilize cover and get used to various recoil patterns to become a good player in this game. It can take some time to get used to some of the more advanced features, but if you want to prepare yourself for more competitive FPS then this would be the title focus upon.
