The Santos, Cartier’s style icon, was first introduced in 1904 and became not only a Cartier signature but also one of the defining wristwatch designs of the 20th century. The latest iteration takes the full Santos-Dumont moniker and steers the line in a new direction — thinner, smaller and more affordable. Key to that is its slimline quartz movement, which may offend the more mechanically minded, but in the flesh it barely registers because of the absence of the tell-tale ticking seconds hand of a quartz movement. It helps too that Cartier is claiming a punchy six-year battery life. The larger of the two models announced is only 31.4mm wide, although feels larger on the wrist, and is just 7mm thick. Mounted on a navy alligator hide strap, it’s chic, dressy and a lusty addition to the Santos canon.
We’re not talking about actual pocket tees here. Rather, printing a faux pocket design in the “pocket” printing location (usually the left chest area) became incredibly popular in 2019 and is expected to continue as cool t shirt design trends 2020. Small logos or designs that look like a pocket printed on tees is a subtle, creative way to promote your message. Bold, colorful prints and pictures that decorate the entire shirt in an all-over repeat type pattern are fun and modern. This design style is sure to become one of the top trends of the year.

The Tula Explore is a completely new design by Baby Tula, with superior versatility and comfort. We first got our hands on the Explore for testing last year and we were super impressed with it; in fact, after a long-term reliability test it might start to creep up this list! Out of the box, it is stylish, has super soft and durable fabric, and feels very well-constructed yet lightweight and flexible enough to stuff into a big diaper bag. We tried it out in all of its 5 positions: rear-facing front-carry for infant, baby, and toddler, forward-facing front-carry for toddler, and back-carry for baby and toddler. Adjusting between the three rear-facing front-carry options was easy, simply reconfiguring the upper and lower parts of the “Explore panel”. The lower panel is in the seating area and adjusts using snaps – infants begin with the narrowest panel setting, and you make it wider as your baby gets bigger. The upper panel adjusts between short and tall positions depending on your baby’s height and head/neck control. The Explore instruction manual is here, and of course also included with the carrier and we strongly encourage you to read when you receive it. All of this adjustment is necessary to make it possible to support babies as small as 7 pounds and up to 45 pounds (the same range as the LilleBaby and Ergobaby 360).
You never know when you’re going to need a tool to get the job done, but carrying around a tool bag with you everywhere you go is both impractical and unfashionable. That’s why the Gerher Shard keychain tool is one of the most useful gadgets on our list. It comes with a miniature built-in prybar, a bottle opener, a screwdriver that does double-duty as a Philips and flat head, and unlike most other multitools, it doesn’t have a blade so it’s totally TSA-approved. You can pick up this must-have keychain multitool for just $8 at Walmart or $5 from YouTech.Me, and it’s cheap enough that you can keep a spare in your car just in case.
