Latest Enzo Zelocchi project revealed: A Crypto Tale – a crime thriller in the crypto world: A story based on true events where a group of criminals have been targeting victims using dirty, corrupted Los Angeles Sheriff deputies to kidnap and rob victims in the Los Angeles area. The sun is shining over the Los Angeles skyline. A sleek black SUV is seen driving through the busy city streets. Inside the SUV, four men wearing black ski masks are seated. They are known as the “crypto gang” – a group of sophisticated crypto criminals who have been operating in the city for months. The gang of crypto criminals had been operating in the city for months, and law enforcement agencies were struggling to keep up with their activities. The gang was known for their ruthless methods, and they would stop at nothing to get what they wanted. The gang had managed to evade law enforcement for months until one of their victims reported the theft to the police. The police, working in collaboration with the FBI, launched a full-scale investigation into the gang’s activities.
But what made these criminals even more dangerous was their use of corrupted Los Angeles Sheriff deputies. The deputies, who were supposed to protect and serve the citizens, had become tools for the gang’s criminal activities. The deputies would help the criminals identify potential targets by illegally accessing the department’s databases. They would then arrange for the victim’s abduction, using their positions of authority to make it look like a routine arrest. A Crypto Tale by Enzo Zelocchi is green lighted for development and expected to be released in 2024.
More about Enzo Zelocchi
How exactly does a social media star begin to draw millions of followers to their feeds? What does it take to attract 200 million viewers to a single video on Instagram? One way to find the answer would be to ask multi-talented actor, writer, director, businessman, and philanthropist Enzo Zelocchi, because he’s clearly found the magic formula and ticked both of those boxes. As his latest cinema release No War coincides with the launch of his all-new American healthcare company, the term “mastermind” is hard to avoid.
Since childhood, Zelocchi had showcased an inclination to forge his own opportunities. Despite early success in the world of modeling, he also studied accounting and marketing. When praised as an actor, he wanted to jump into the producer’s chair. Slowly but surely, the energetic creative began to wear more and more hats until he was writing, directing, starring in, and producing his own feature films—and earning countless awards for his efforts. Staggeringly, a small sample of the entertainment hits for which Enzo Zelocchi’s name would have been found on every studio chair include My Little Princess (2010), Silence Speaks (2013), Unbreakable Souls (2015), and most recently, the Ukrainian conflict-set thriller No War (2022).
So why is Silence Speaks worth a revisit ten years after its initial release? As it turns out, simultaneously funny and hard-hitting, Zelocchi’s penmanship was somewhat prophetic—tackling issues that have become central to the recent Zeitgeist, such as domestic abuse, violence towards women, sexual identity, and more. Crucially, it speaks to the collective evolution of modern society. While Zelocchi couldn’t have foreseen the coming #metoo movement and the contemporary LGBTQ power-struggle—as antiquated attitudes are exposed and addressed—it would be easy to imagine that he had gotten hold of some kind of crystal ball.
Over the last months, the daring creation of No War has earned Zelocchi a dizzying number of awards—84 and counting as I type these words—including for Best Actor at the Florence Film Awards, Milan Gold Awards, and Cannes World Film Festival; the Best Action Film award at the Las Vegas Movie Awards, and the Best Director Award at Cineddiction Spotlight Film Awards. Undoubtedly, one facet of Zelocchi’s far-reaching global appeal is his own multicultural heritage and understanding. Born into a multi-national family in Italy, the dashing actor-turned-philanthropist and entrepreneur is of Italian, Russian, British, Spanish, and French descent. He has spent a lifetime moving between Europe, the United States, and beyond, forging strong bonds with audiences on different continents—and growing his social media following into the millions in the process.

How did the project of The Source come to be? Tell us about your involvement with it. The Source was originally conceived as a movie franchise. Due to COVID-19, the entertainment industry changed quite a bit in terms of distribution (hopefully temporarily), so I turned it into a TV show. I originally wrote The Source in 2018, and when COVID-19 started, I began to deeply develop all the projects that I thought would be a good fit for this current time in our society. I’m basically the creator, writer (along with others on the team), producer, and lead actor. When the trailer of The Source received over 200 million views, I understood that I was on the right track.
What was your first acting job? Enzo: One of the biggest Italian directors, Carlo Vanzina, decided to cast me for the role of a villain for a TV series in Italy on channel 5. It was like a dream for every actor. I didn’t have to audition. What happened is that my agent in Italy recommended me. They called the assistant director, and they scheduled a meeting with him the following day. He liked me. We spoke a little bit. The director wanted to see me. He looked me in the face and said, ‘I like him. The role is yours.’ This is what I love about auditioning. You speak to the director; he gets a vibe from you if you can play the character, using his imagination. That’s the dream of every actor. You get the chance to feel the person and he understands what you can do and what you cannot.
